The Partner Development Manager is responsible for driving Azure adoption and migration projects through an indirect partner ecosystem.
The role focuses on identifying and developing new partners, enabling them to grow their cloud business and supporting them in driving Azure migration opportunities with their customers.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated business developer who thrives in a dynamic sales environment and is able to articulate the value proposition of the Azure ecosystem to partners and their end customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and collaborate with resellers to drive customer Azure migrations at scale, helping them strengthen their marketing and sales capabilities.
- Support partners in building compelling cloud offers addressing key customer scenarios.
- Mobilize partners to leverage Microsoft resources such as campaigns, partner incentives and targeting tools to generate new business opportunities.
- Use Microsoft targeting tools (e.g. Cloud Ascent) to identify on-premise to cloud migration opportunities.
- Establish a Rhythm of Business with resellers and Microsoft stakeholders to ensure consistent engagement and performance tracking.
- Drive partner outreach and demand generation through multiple channels including email, webinars, events and social media.
- Promote Azure offers and campaigns to stimulate partner engagement and pipeline creation.
Main Activities
- Drive Azure channel acquisition and activation to scale solutions for SMB customers through partners.
- Advise resellers on partner designations and certification paths.
- Lead partner acquisition initiatives such as blitz weeks, webinars and enablement sessions.
- Stimulate engagement and performance improvement among underperforming resellers.
- Ensure partners leverage available incentives and marketing funds to accelerate customer acquisition.
- Assist resellers in qualifying opportunities and supporting customer wins when necessary.
- Use available partner data and insights to execute go-to-market initiatives focused on migration and modernization scenarios.
Participate in partner events, bootcamps and enablement sessions within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Support partners in identifying workloads suitable for Azure migration projects.

Description du profil

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales, marketing or business development within the IT industry.
Experience working with cloud technologies, hosting providers, service providers, telecom operators or IT partners is a strong plus.
Basic understanding of:
- Azure
- Cloud infrastructure
- Microsoft partner ecosystem
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools.
- Familiarity with Azure and/or Dynamics products is appreciated.
- Certifications
- Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) must be completed within 2 months of hire.
- Additional Azure certifications are encouraged.
