Piping Material Engineering Internebest

The specification defines the conditions and the requirements for the subcontracting services related to Piping Material to be performed by the SUBCONTRACTOR on multiprojects.

Scope of the sub-contracting services
The SUBCONTRACTOR will perform the following tasks with the support of an experimented piping material engineer:
• Report to the Piping Material lead and his deputy on Project
• Development of
o The summary of piping classes in collaboration with the Process department,
o The specifications of piping classes (job specification design and supply),
o Data sheets for special items
• Participation in piping material take off, working instruction and management of quantities evolution.
• Development of Job specifications for supply,
• Development of supplier inspection test plans
• Issuance of material requisitions for inquiry and purchases
• Technical analysis of supplier offers: development of technical bid tabulation, clarifications and deviations from vendor
• Review of Supplier documents after purchase order.
• Short trips in France and abroad could be part of the mission.

REQUESTED QUALIFICATIONS
The services to be performed by The SUBCONTRACTOR require the following skills and experience:
• With 5 years of experience as piping material engineer in oil & gas
• Knowledge of international codes in particular ASME B31.3 and technical standards ASME, API, MSS, API , BS, NACE.
• Material management and coding tool (Intergraph Smart Materials) capabilities.
• Dynamic and responsive,
• good communication skills and evolve with ease in a multicultural environment
• Analysis and synthesis skills.
• Fluent in English
