SLC Financial Branch Controller (m/f) AIRBUS

**Job Description:**

As Financial Controller of Secure Land Communications branches (ADS SLC SAS), you will report to the SLC France Head of Finance (HoF)

Missions:

COST CONTROL AND REPORTING

* Understand SLC's business environment, including strategy, governance, challenges, and constraints.
* Manage the reporting package of the Belgium, Hungary, and Sweden entities (reporting pack, transfer files, financial follow-up meetings, tracking files, etc.).
* Build and monitor the annual budgets of the 3 branches.
* Prepare detailed monthly financial reports for the SLC Planning and Performance team, with an appropriate level of detail for analysis.
* Comments and analysis of deviations to be implemented in close collaboration with the operational teams.
* Improve reporting processes continuously for enhanced precision and clarity.


PROJECT CONTROLLING

* Provide proactive financial support to customer project managers as a financial partner.
* Prepare and review project Estimates at Completion (EAC), including tracking of the Risk and Opportunity Register. Propose risk mitigation strategies.
* Participate in semi-annual project reviews and prepare project reports. Educate project managers on financial rules aligned with IFRS15 standards.
* Provide project information to support the 5-year Operative Planning (OP) consolidation, Budget, and all annual forecasting processes.
* Prepare project documents for all reviews with internal and external auditors, cost investigations, and tax-related topics. Support the Head of Finance (HoF) on these matters.
* Establish and monitor financial reporting on Risks and Opportunities, and proactively support project managers in risk mitigation and opportunity optimization.
* Ensure compliance of SLC branches with Airbus Group's financial rules and standards (including IFRS15, EAC review, etc.) and implement applicable financial processes.


TRANSVERSAL

* Provide support on cross-functional topics when required, such as:
* Internal audit and internal control: Assist with internal audits, help maintain and improve internal controls, and support the internal audit team as needed.
* Tax audit: Collaborate with the tax team during tax audits, provide necessary documentation, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
* Operational team inquiries: Address questions and provide guidance to operational teams on financial matters, processes, and best practices.



Key Competences and requirements :

* Degree in Finance, Business Management, Engineering or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions (finance controlling, cost accounting)
* Excellent financial skills
* Ability to persuade, influence, collaborate and convince
* Ability to work autonomously, independently, and proactively
* Ability to switch from big picture to detailed view
* Rigorous and organized
* Project management experience involving systems for finance and experience in leading working approaches
* Experience working with SAP / Finance applications (e.g. ERP, Simplifi)
* Know how to capture, analyze, identify, improvement points with the right stakeholders
* Knowledge of security/internal control rules for financial data and systems
* Excellent communication skills, self-driven, ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic customer-focused environment



* English fluent and comfortable in working with plurinational teams, in a multi-functional team setup
* Capacity of adaptation with short deadlines and priorization
