A vacancy for a * Computing Platform Engineer for Flight Test Installation (m/f) * has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the Flight and Integration Test Centre, especially the Enhanced Systems team composed of electronic, systems and software engineers.

*Your mission:*

As a technical project leader, your mission will be to manage technical activities linked to Flight Test core components, and more precisely to computing platforms (from small-scale IoT boards to large-scale powerful cluster computing) which are used in our test aircraft to process and display data coming from a large range of sources (such as sensors or aircraft systems).

You will be accountable of the following tasks:

* Perform technical project management tasks such as reporting, documentation writing, quality follow-up
* Lead the development of new computing platforms: collect new needs and specify technical requirements, launch purchase orders, drive development with suppliers, qualification, functional tests, integration and deployment on test aircraft
* Lead maintenance (control of equipment) and operational support activities in close collaboration with operational teams
* Manage obsolescence to anticipate operational issues


You will work in a multi-skilled group of people, working on both hardware and software development and support, interacting with a lot of stakeholders such as technical specialists, project managers, support functions leaders, operational teams,...

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

*Required skills*

* Educated to Master's degree level (or equivalent) in computer science with strong knowledge in hardware part of servers and workstations, knowledge in Unix/Linux Operating Systems, network and security
* Experience in IT asset management, hardware tests, hardware qualification
* Experience in project management
* Curiosity, Team player, Rigor
* Advanced level of English.

Un poste d'un(e) ingénieur(e) en Plateformes Informatiques pour l'Installation d'Essais en Vol est ouvert au sein d' Airbus Commercial Aircraft à Toulouse. Vous rejoindrez le Centre d'Essais en Vol et d'Intégration, et plus particulièrement l'équipe 'Enhanced Systems' constituée d'ingénieur(e)s en électronique, systèmes et logiciels.

*Notre mission :*

En tant que chef de projet, votre mission sera de gérer les activités techniques liées aux systèmes au coeur de l'installation d'essais en vol, et plus précisément des plateformes de calcul (allant des petites cartes IoT jusqu'aux puissantes machines de calcul) qui sont utilisées dans nos avions d'essais pour traiter et afficher les données venant de nombreuses sources (comme les capteurs ou les systèmes avioniques).

Vous serez en charge des tâches suivantes :

* Effectuer des tâches de gestion de projet technique telles que du reporting, de la rédaction de documents, du suivi qualité
* Mener le développement de nouvelles plateformes : collecter les nouveaux besoins et spécifier les exigences techniques, conduire le développement avec les fournisseurs, la qualification, les tests fonctionnels, l'intégration et le déploiement sur avion
* Gérer la maintenance (contrôle des équipements) et les activités de support opérationnel
* Gérer l'obsolescence pour anticiper les problèmes opérationnels.


Vous travaillerez dans un groupe ayant des compétences multiples, sur les aspects matériels et logiciels, en interagissant avec un grand nombre d'interlocuteurs tels que les spécialistes techniques, les chefs de projets, les fonctions support, les équipes opérationnelles,...

Ce rôle nécessitera quelques déplacements professionnels.

*Compétences recherchées :*

* Formation ingénieur(e) en informatique avec une connaissance approfondie sur la partie matérielle des serveurs et stations de travail, connaissance des systèmes d'exploitation Unix/Linux, réseau et sécurité
* Expérience en gestion de parc de machines, tests matériels, qualification de matériel
* Expérience en gestion de projet
* Curiosité, travail en équipe, rigueur
* Niveau avancé en Anglais.
