Description du poste
The Accounting&Tax Manager supports, and, in conjunction with the Head of Department and the other manager, manages a team of staff, ensuring that the provision of all client work for the portfolio is delivered on time and to a high standard in order to meet productivity targets.
Description du profil
- Manage, coach, evaluate and motivate team members, recruit staff, train team members in accordance with company policies and ensure internal procedures are followed;
- Manage the Associate's work on the firm's client portfolio:
o Keeping the firm's clients' accounts
o Preparation of monthly and/or annual accounts
o The preparation of tax returns;
o Reporting according to French Standards or IFRS Understands ; - Manage the customer relationship, handle complaints and ensure regular communication to maintain a good relationship with all customers;
- Ensure the proper administrative operation of the department: leave, invoicing, collections, relationships with other teams, various internal projects
- Monitors client relationships and ensures they are effectively managed within the team, acting as a point of escalation for service delivery issues
- Builds, embeds and manages a robust compliance and governance system, processes and controls, in accordance with relevant regulation and best practice;
- Recognises the strategic importance of revenue, profitability, chargeability and the client relationship, effectively applies this understanding to daily tasks ensuring that members of the team are aware of this depending on their level, responsibilities and tasks;
- Proactively develops relationships with clients and Securitizations' counterparties and provide teams with customer feedback on services improvements;
- Contributes to business development as required.
- Provides recommendations for optimizing systems, procedures, corrective actions, and processes;
- Monitors client relationships and ensures they are effectively managed within the team, acting as a point of escalation for service delivery issues.
