Engineering Project controlling (H/F) AIRBUS

**Job Description:**
*A vacancy has arisen in the Airbus Defence & Space / Space Systems Finance organization as Financial Project Controller. *
The successful candidate will join the Finance team located in Toulouse working for the Engineering Management Unit
What you will be doing:
You will control and monitor the financial performance of several engineering external R&D projects in France and consolidate the project's global financial performance (UK, GE and FR).
You will be responsible for providing excellent financial control, performance monitoring and reporting internally at management level.
You will provide financial support, guidance and challenge to business topics, particularly:
* Promoting financial awareness, especially on 'grants' or 'co-funded' R&D projects
* Propose the right funding scheme / project type, based on the accounting guidances
* Ensure the strict adherence of Business to finance compliance requirements
Your detailed mission would be as follows:
1. CO-PILOT THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE*
Plan & challenge
- Lead the preparation of the Forecast and OP exercises, consolidate the overall picture
- Check the overall consistency of planning deviations for the full engineering portfolio
- Maintain & challenge the multi year financial performance of your project's portfolio
Analyze & advise
- Produce accurate financial reporting, at the appropriate level of granularity
- Assess the actual financial performance, analyze deviations and advise on corrective actions.
- Anticipate financial risks and advise on mitigation strategies
- Anticipate financial opportunities
- Interact with Auditors and central controlling for the full engineering FR portfolio
Support execution & ensure data quality
- Approve shopping carts, review commitments & accruals
- Trigger costs rebooking & costs transfer when needed
- Provide on time and reliable cost report for 'Grant' projects
- Regaular cleaning of project master data
- Close collaboration with R&D controller to share impacts on self-funded R&D
* All financial dimensions shall be considered:
Order Intake, Revenues, Cost of Sales, Project GM, R&D, Cash-in, Cash-out, Contract assets, Contract liabilities
All relevant periods (monthly, quarterly, yearly, multi-years).

About you:
As the successful candidate, you must demonstrate the following:
* Master Degree in Finance (and/or experience in that field)
* A first experience in Finance
* A good knowledge on SAP, Excel, Google suite
* Ability to demonstrate autonomy & proactivity
* Good communication skills and team player
* English language at intermediate level
