**Job Description:**
Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an *Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) Systems Engineer *to join our *Manufacturing Engineering and Environmental Testing Department* based in Toulouse, France.

*YOUR MISSION*
As* EGSE System Engineer within the Manufacturing Engineering and Environmental Testing* (MEET) organization, *you are the technical owner of the EGSE* (Electrical Ground Support Equipment) *performance across all stations in the Final Assembly Line *(FAL).
Your mission is *to ensure the reliability, availability, and continuous improvement of the testing infrastructure to support high-rate production*.
*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*
* *EGSE Design & Lifecycle Management:* Define the architecture and commissioning procedures for new Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) across various domains (Radio Frequency, Global Navigation Satellite Systems, Thermal, etc.) and manage the technical configuration of the Final Assembly Line (FAL).
* *Production Support & Troubleshooting:* Act as the primary technical authority to resolve equipment-related anomalies, providing 1st and 2nd level support to unblock production and ensure continuous assembly line operation.
* *Operational Readiness & Maintenance:* Oversee the maintenance of specialized testing tools and prepare Qualification Test Campaigns, including the design of specialized cabling and the technical training of production operators.
* *Continuous Improvement & Quality:* Drive the optimization of manufacturing flows to increase production rates and implement corrective actions for any non-conformities related to testing equipment.
**MANDATORY:*
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
This position may also require obtaining export licenses or other regulatory authorizations.*
*YOUR PROFILE*
*Competences and experience:*
* *Professional Experience:* Minimum 5 years of experience in EGSE Engineering or Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT) within a serial production or high-volume assembly line environment.
* *Technical Expertise:*
* Solid understanding of satellite subsystems (Radio Frequency (RF), Thermal, Bus, etc.) and their associated ground support equipment.
* Proficiency in EGSE design, configuration management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve technical anomalies.
* Familiarity with satellite assembly, testing, and manufacturing flows.
* *Soft Skills:*
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to interface with multidisciplinary teams (Design, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain).
* Operational agility and analytical skills to manage priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
* Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly to both engineers and production operators.
