**Job Description:**
Skywise is looking for a Principal Product Manager to oversee the health and growth of our Flight Ops Documentation Management Solutions in our Flight Deck product portfolio. The ideal candidate will own the Documentation Management product offer, supporting our commercial teams on complex deals, drive product vision and collaborate across all business lines.
**Accountabilities: **
The Principal Product manager is accountable for the definition and update of the offerability of his/her set of products, through update of product offerability policy and ownership of technical contractual appendices (Statement of Work) to enable commercial teams to market, sell and contract efficiently the product within the frame of its respective standard offer.
For complex / specific deals, outside of the standard offer, the Principle Manager is responsible to assess and mitigate technical risk during the contracting phase through Business Process Review with customers to map properly and mitigate potential risks arising from these deals to be approved through the deal assessment process.
The Principal Product Manager is responsible for defining the technical and functional statement on complex deals during the bidding process, ensuring that the value is brought to the customer during the implementation phase and finally to provide expertise whenever needed during the support phase of the customer.
In addition to the above, the job holder will be responsible to support the development and prioritization of the new solutions/services to develop by providing insight on what the market is looking for, and what the market might expect in the future working jointly with the Flight Deck Portfolio Managers to prioritize these needs in the frame of our Portfolio roadmap .
Our portfolio of Flight Ops Documentation mainly consists today in:
- FODM
- Mission + Doc Manager (our next-generation Documentation authoring and management platform)
*Main Responsibilities:*
* Defining and maintaining the standard statement of work for non complex deals, and the decision making process to consider a deal as complex.
* Providing the Portfolio and Software Factory teams with insight of the current requirements of airlines and/or the coming one and prioritize them for inclusion in the product roadmap.
* For complex deals, the job holder is responsible for:
* Establishing the requirements at customer side and navblue side to optimize the customer value of the contract while optimizing the customization impact for navblue trough Business Process Review (BPR) process
* Establishing the risk level for the implementation of the contract by assessing the technical, functional and cultural risk related to the implementation of the contract,
* Defining the technical part of contract's statement of work,
* Ensuring and maintaining the value is delivered and risk mitigated during the implementation phase,
* Supporting the Product Delivery teams across all regions for some complex projects and/or priority customers (e.g. support to cutover for a Tier1 airline)
* Contribute to the Skywise brand visibility through presentations to industry events and publication of white papers on his/her subject of expertise
* Supporting the level 3 support team for prioritization of advanced items and customer escalations.
* Education: * Master of Science in Airline management, or equivalent
*Experience:* 5 years minimum with a s trong background in the aviation training industry / working for an airline or other service provider in the Ops documentation management domain / Flight operations documentation experience for an OEM
* Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities & Competencies: *
* operational knowledge and experience in the functions of an air operator (including flight operations);
* very good English written and verbal communication skills;
* well-developed interpersonal skills;
* the ability to relate to all levels, both inside and outside the organization;
* organizational ability;
* good analytical skills;
* a "can-do-it" attitude to overcome roadblock
* Travel Required: * Up to 20% Domestic and International
