Airbus UpNext Internship 2026 - Antenna engineering (m/f) AIRBUS

**Job Description:**

Airbus UpNext is looking for a Antenna design and conception engineering intern to support the definition and implementation of 5G Non-Terrestrial-Network capabilities based on space platforms.

Our objective is to explore many new technologies and to support the strategic ambitions of Airbus. As such, be prepared for a wild ride, digging into unconventional ways of working, and be ready for many pivots throughout, as we will explore the unknown.

Airbus UpNext demonstrator team is looking for an antenna engineering intern in order to support the development of two S band antennas for over the air demonstration.

* This internship is within Airbus UpNext, is based in Toulouse (Labège), will start as soon as possible and will last for a period of 6 months. *

* Mission *

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

* Design 2 circular polarized S Band antennas : one semi omni directional and a directive one.

* Participate to the production/procurement of the antennas

* Participate to the tests of the antennas

* Work on the integration of the antennas within the complete RF front ends.

* Antenna design software experience (HFSS, CST or FECKO)
