*Your mission* :
An internship opportunity titled : « Integrated modeling of auto-flight system (m/f) » has just opened at Airbus Opérations SAS - Design Office located in Saint-Martin Toulouse.

You will join the '1YCCA' department in charge of auto-flight system.

Your internship will consist in building a structured, multi-granularity level, integrated model of the A330 family autopilot. Indeed, today, the A330 auto-flight system is inherited from many years of development and its description is spread across many sources. A potential for increasing the productivity of all actors working on this system (designers, certification specialists, verification & validation teams, in-service teams, other ATAs...) has been identified. A first mock-up of an optimised model is already running, your objective will be to improve it by refining the functional split of the system.

This is a 5-months internship and it will start in March 2026.

This position requires a security clearance or requires to be eligible for clearance by recognized authorities.

*Your main missions will consist of:*

- appropriate the already running tool (developed in 2025) and users needs

- review the functional auto-flight system breakdown

- propose improvements of the tool

Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills

*This internship will allow you to develop the following skills:*

- improve knowledge of a critical system (the auto-pilot)

- develop software competences

- discover development & in-service ways of working & interacting, being integrated at the heart of the design team

*Your Boarding Pass:*
You are preparing a diploma level Bac+5 in aerospace engineering (or equivalent).
You possess the following competences:

- Technical skills :

- aerospace system engineering basic knowledge

- software development modern tools

- aerospace engineering

- Soft Skills :

- autonomous

- team player

- ability to connect

- Languages skills :

- English: fluent

- French : intermediate
