**Job Description:**
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a* Technical Solutions Manager (f/m)* to join our Major Repairs & Working Party based in Toulouse, France.
Within the Fleet Efficiency Customer Care Center organization , the jobholder is part of Airbus Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Approval (SMOA) and the Major Repairs & Working Parties department (SBCR)
SBCR scope encompasses the Project Management of aircraft Modifications or repairs after the Transfer of Title to the Customer, such as Major Repairs, aircraft conversions, end of lease and upgrades, retrofit of modifications on in-service aircraft. Above can be done in both, Make or Buy contexts.
The job holder leads the sub-multifunctional team in charge of the technical activities of the mentioned scope. The main stakeholders being : Engineering for the repair definition, Supply chain for the spares, working party resources for the job cards, tools, and resources availability, Industrialisation for the predefined repair solutions.

*Your challenges :*
* Support on site damage assessment and provide on site advisory for when repairs are performed by the Customer providing engineering advice.
* ROM consolidation. Consolidates and provides the Project leader with technical information to establish a ROM ( Rough order of magnitude) and/ or quotation: repair definition, preparation and repair embodiment phases.
* Aircraft retrofit, modification, conversion. TSM pilots the technical tasks of the projects where Airbus is managing assessment, definition, material sourcing and embodiment. This also includes retrofit modifications.
* Facilitates the repair on the aircraft as a support or advisor on site. The candidate acts as Airbus / Customer interface managing Customer expectations and sharing Airbus Policies & Way of working.
* Outsourcing services. The TSM issues the specification for required outsourced engineering services and can act as a Working Party Representative.
* Documentation. Supports the update of the P145 documentation related to the role.
* Safety & Compliance. Supports repair process quality gates. Proactively supports & lead root cause analysis in case of audit finding or repetitive no performance. Reports any Safety occurrence, can act as an SMS representative.
* Digitalisation. Supports Major Repair digitalisation and required tools to measure performance and the progress of the repair activity.
* Continuous improvement. Supports development of tools within SBCR and the monitoring of the progress of the activities.
* Support the mentoring activities based on overall experience and SBCR processes.
* Secures wide communication within the SBCR TSM community and proper traceability to support continuous improvement and capitalize on lessons learned.
* Ensures Risk Analysis, Safety and compliance.
*Your boarding pass :*
* Knowledge about PART 145 mandatory / Part 21 is a plus
* Strong motivation, proactive mindset and team spirit.
* Experiences in multi ATA.
* Solid negotiation and communication skills, able to explain and defend technical choices.
* Comfortable working in a collaborative, multicultural environment with a broad range of stakeholders.
* 365 days 24/24h Coverage. Contributes to the SBCR stand by service (24/24H and 365 days a year) representing 4/5 weeks a year.
* Naturally curious, creative and inclined towards innovation.
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
