Within the Airworthiness and Technical Services (ATS) Division having 50 technical specialists in airworthiness expertise, support to brand new aircraft delivery and borescope inspections and located in Blagnac, as Head of Airworthiness department (AWO) M/F, your main mission is to manage and develop the department (< 30 inspectors) ensuring the technical, human and economical performance of the activities related to aircraft transitions and continuing airworthiness, in line with the ATS division strategy.
Your key objectives :
- Manage the technical team.
- Provide the optimpized competences to the projects.
- Optimize projects margin through the productivity of the team.
- Develop and promote the department in line with the global strategy.
Technical and human management responsibilities
- Contribute to the elaboration of the technical, commercial, management and economical strategy of the perimeter.
- Structure, organize and manage the team to optimize the efficiency in line with the global strategy.
- Guarantee the organization of the production, the profitability and the compliance with commitments to Customers.
- Guarantee the quality of the deliverables, optimizing process and tools.
- Develop and update a team reliable workload planning.
- Interface with the CAMO Post Holder to define objectives and priorities.
- Assess the performance of the inspectors.
- Contribute to the interface with Customers client in close relationship with ATS management and Projects Managers.
- Identify the relevant ways of improvement, propose and follow the actions plan in close relationship with Quality Approvals Manager.
- Facilitate the experience sharing and the technical capitalization among the team.
- Administrative management of the team (missions, holidays, remote work, clocking, IT,...).
- Build an yearly training program and ensure the development of the competences.
- Participate to the recruitement process.
- Participate to the pre-sales activities for the technical quotation.

Description du profil
Education and experience
Grade level : Aeronautical bachelor's degree or more.
At least 5 years of experience in aeronautical maintenance / aircraft transitions / continuing airworthiness, with team management.
Technical competences
- Aircraft transitions process and environment : recovery, storage, registration, certification, immatriculation, delivery, relationship whith airworthiness authorities, ferry flight,...
- Continuing airworthiness and associated maintenance working parties.
- EASA Regulatory requirements (Part CAMO, Part 145, Part 21...).
- Team workload planning development, update and monitoring / assessment of the production.
Management competences
- Leadership.
- Organisation, animation and management of a multicultural technical team.
- Set and maintain objectives.
- Ability to delegate
