**Job Description:**

*Airbus Commercial Aircraft* is looking for a *Tech Data transformation - Advanced Aircraft Maintenance Manual Authoring Solutions* * (f/m)* to join our Customer Services department based in Toulouse, France.

You will join the Operational Unit 'Technical Data', which is in charge of *developing and delivering aircraft maintenance documentation*, to enable the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations by the customers (airlines, MRO, lessors).

The Tech Data organization has initiated a complete transformation plan. This plan targets the *deployment of new innovative ways to author our products, and to deliver them to our customers*.

*Your challenges:*

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient IT Development Supervisor to lead the development and implementation of sophisticated IT solutions that underpin our next-generation of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) authoring platform.

This is a unique opportunity to be a key contributor to a high-impact project, directly influencing the future of aircraft maintenance documentation. You will be an integral part of our business team, working closely with domain experts to understand their needs and translate them into robust and scalable technical solutions.

Your main responsibilities will be the following:

* *Leading and Supervising*: acting as the primary liaison with the IT department, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful design, development, testing, and deployment of IT solutions that directly support our Aircraft Maintenance Manual authoring initiatives.

* *Solution Co-Design*: collaborating with business stakeholders and analysts to understand requirements and taking part in selecting the most relevant IT architectures.

* *Development Oversight*: overseeing the coding, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and maintainable software.

* *Ensuring seamless integration of developed components with existing systems and data sources*.

* *Technology Evaluation*: researching and evaluating new technologies and methodologies relevant to our needs, providing recommendations for adoption where appropriate.

* *Project Management*: contributing to project planning, estimation, and tracking, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.

* *Communication*: effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders within the business team.

* *Mentoring and guiding *junior developers, fostering their technical growth and ensuring adherence to best practices.

*Required skills and experience:*

* Proven Experience in supporting an IT transformation project.

* Significant experience in implementing and applying First Order Logic for complex reasoning, inference, and knowledge representation.

* Demonstrated understanding of AI Planning Techniques and Knowledge representation.

* Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary business team.



*Desired skills and experience:*

* Experience in the aviation or technical documentation domain.

* Experience in Knowledge Representation and AI Planning Technique

* Experience with specific database technologies relevant to complex data structures and querying.

* Exposure to AI and machine learning concepts beyond First Order Logic and HTN.

* Experience with cloud-based development and deployment.
