*Airbus Commercial Aircraft* is looking for a "*FMS Validation & Verification Engineer"* to join the Flight Management System (FMS) design office team based in *Toulouse, France*..
As a "FMS Validation & Verification Engineer" you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that cover the Validation & Verification of an FMS development over the full product lifecycle.

*Your challenges:*
* Contributing to the Requirements and V&V Management (RVVM) activities; defining and driving the system Validation & Verification activities over the full development lifecycle, within a project team. These include:
* Requirements management
* Laboratory & flight testing
* Contributing to Supplier's follow-up
* Anomaly identification, management & closure
* Attending regular simulator test sessions jointly with FMS Lab team.
* Ensuring that FMS Validation & Verification is fully integrated with the activities of our internal customers and stakeholders, Multi-System Functions' owners, FMS designers and suppliers.
* Supporting related safety & certification activities
* The final mix of the above tasks will be tailored based on your competencies, aspirations, and of course on our project needs.
* You will therefore have a large and rewarding number of interfaces including major multi-national suppliers, other aircraft system teams, laboratory and flight test teams, civil or military aircraft programs, safety, certification, airworthiness, etc. This requires your ability to work and prioritise to strict timescales as part of large transnational teams with flexibility; your technical rigour, ability to persuade & influence, and project management capabilities.
*Your boarding pass:*
* Master degree in Business school
* Technical expertise :tools, frameworks, regulations
* Proven experience in Avionics System Development,
* Your curiosity and technical appetite for complex functions and systems developments.
* Your ability to learn continuously,
* Your ability to work with flexibility and assertiveness to strict timescales as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team.
* Good communication and a proactive approach to problem solving.
* Openness to change, new methodologies & technologies
* An aeronautical / systems / avionics engineering degree (or equivalent), with ideally a former experience in System development.
* The ability to speak & work in English.
