**Job Description:**

* Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Flight Control Laws Designer (m/f) to join our Flight Control Laws department, based in Toulouse, France. *

You will be part of a 15-person team working on manual and automatic flight control laws, within the "Stability & Control" domain, which covers all Airbus aircraft.

A long-term, multi-disciplinary development path may be offered to you in the flight controls field, towards handling qualities, flight control computers, and actuators.

* Your challenges: *

* Responsible for the flight control laws from preliminary design through to certification.

* Detailed specification using formal specification tools (SAO/SCADE/SQUID), while being responsible for the on-time, on-quality, and on-performance delivery of your design as integrated into the flight control system.

* Present and justify your design, its performance, and its limitations to flight test engineers and test pilots, and support them during flight tests and simulator sessions.

* Ensure validation and verification activities and their traceability.

* Support in-service incident analyses reported by customer support or pilots, thereby contributing to essential airworthiness support activities for our aircraft.



* Your boarding pass: *


* An educational background in automatic control or flight physics and dynamics, with experience in systems engineering.

* Knowledge of control simulation tools (e.g., Matlab, Simulink) would be a strong asset.

* Ability to interact with many different stakeholders from various domains, functions, and countries.

* A negotiation level of English is mandatory (French would be a plus).



This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
