*What you will be doing *

You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of Embedded Software Engineerand can expect to be involved in the following:

1. Design and develop embedded real-time software - from high-level specification analysis to integration and validation on final hardware. You will also perform integration and verification activities using state-of-the-art test tools.

2. Understand and challenge customer needs to propose reusable and harmonized solutions, You'll also contribute to continuous process improvement and help introduce innovative technologies to enhance performance and efficiency.

3. Learn the full V-cycle development process: specification, architecture, design, coding, integration, verification, and support using software engineering methods and tools (standard DEVOPS environment)

4. Contribute to develop the future avionics platform for the next A/C program generation.

5. Build technical expertise across both Low-Level components (such as OS, multi-core processor architecture, I/O, and network) and applicative software. You'll also gain a strong foundation in real-time embedded software development within the context of aerospace certification standards (e.g., DO-178C, DAL-A).

6. Follow a comprehensive learning path that includes avionics hardware and software, system design, flight testing, customer support, and interaction with key suppliers.

Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.

Throughout the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of Embedded Software Engineer!

*What we are looking for*

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:


* A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study (Engineering in Embedded Systems, Embedded critical systems or a comparable qualification)

* Recently graduated or bring first professional experience in the field of critical real-time embedded software

* Ideally, on top: Critical Real-Time Embedded Software Development and Certification; Comprehensive V-Cycle Software Development Process: specification, architecture, design, coding and testing; and

* Key technical features: OS and I/O hardware drivers, signal processing, input/output management, embedded network protocols and drivers for complex hardware development, PowerPC assembly, micro-kernel development, and multi-core PowerPC architecture

* -Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)

* A collaborative mindset and good communication skills, willing to 'receive and deliver' and on driving future innovation

* A solution-oriented attitude

* The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
