Customer Services - Technical Data Operations Method & Tools Engineer F/M AIRBUS

**Job Description:**

**Airbus Commercial Aircraft* * is looking for a **Technical Data Operations Method & Tools engineer (f/m)** to join our * Custom er Services Department * within * the Tech Data Operation team (SIDO) * based in ** Toulouse, France.**

The Assembly & Dispatch (A&D) department (SIDOI), is in charge of:

* Ensuring that Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) and Flight Operations (F.OPS) products are generated and dispatched in compliance with TD processes & Quality Gates, Customers contracts, fleet / aircraft configuration & applicable regulations (SIDOI1 & SIDOI2)

* Supporting operations and Leading the evolutions of applications used in the assembly and dispatch of Tech Data (SIDOIS)

* Leading Transformation of Methods and Tools to support Tech Data Vision and Strategy (SIDOIS)

* Developing Data mining/Data analysis solutions for answering internal/external queries or support (All SIDOIx)

* Ensuring un-archive TD products (SIDOI2).



Within this team, you will:

* Support functionality the application and the run mode of the application

* Coordinate and validate any evolution or improvement needed for the application and its interfaces with other functional areas

* Establish and develop transformation plan for his/her applications

* Analyses and answers to SIDOI Data Mining request.

**Your challenges:**

Business Applications activities:

Perform with the support of Stream leaders (SL),Team leaders or Architect:

* Develop long term and strategics objectives to ensure that end user requirements will be satisfied



Perform with the validation of Stream leaders,Team leaders or Architect:

* Ensure the application is properly referenced in MyPortfolio and properly assessed in MyData Compliance

* Collect, analyse with validation from Application SL and A&D Architect and formalize the needs through Tech Data Transformation platform process

* Write BRD (Business Requirements Dossier), contribute to M5 maturity and validate RCS (Request Change Sheet)

* Ensure consistency of application performance

* Define access rights management, monitor access all along application life cycle

* Ensure application conformity in regards of Export control rules

* Ensure the interface with the data providers to solve any discrepancies between the data providers and Technical data environments



Perform with the advice of Stream leaders,Team leaders or Architect:

* Guides the users, ensure awareness and training and provide regular communication

* Ensure the follow-up of the incidents opened for the application and capture any improvement opportunity: define, implement corrective and preventive actions, ensure they are solved in a reasonable and acceptable amount of time

* Ensure consistency between the needs and processes, that all risks & opps have been identified and that planning are harmonized

* Challenge each evolution candidate for Business Continuity project: assess risks and priority through business cases and/or customer impacts

* Communicate with the product leader and Data governance on all evolution impacting the final structure of the product in order to manage the right level of communication to external users (A/Ls, MROs, Third party, ...)

* Communicate on application evolution

* Provide reports, dashboards, data analytics

* Perform Data Mining analysis and communicate results



Perform in autonomy:

* Author and update the documentation relative to the application (user guides, work description, administration guides, training guides or e-learning)

* Build with ISPL (Information System Product Leader) Product backlog with relevant User Stories

* Perform UAT (user acceptance tests) : prepare the tests strategy and tests cases, manage tests and pronounce the GO NOGO for the EIS (Enter Into Service)

* Support the deployment of new functionalities

* Monitor data loading and processing

* update administration tables/data

* Ensure the Interface between transnational business end-users and Information Management team

* Manages and controls the subcontracted activities regarding the application (monitor the activities and validate the subcontractor deliverables)-Monthly assessment (Q,C,T)

* Ensure the completeness of the database (manual data correction, recovery of the missing data) when applicable



Project activities:

Perform with the validation of Stream leaders,Team leaders or Architect:

* Drive the project strategy and development in regards of TD Transformation platform process taking into account Customers' expectations, market analysis and Technical Data orientations

* Build and manage Project Business case

* Build the project Work Breakdown Structure and manage resources availability

* Ensure the compliance with the planning, budget, and resources allocated to the project

* Define and update project development roadmap in accordance with defined targets and methodology

* Organize, prepare and manage the project Gates Review meeting

* Identify and Manage Risks & Opportunities

* Follow up Gate Review Actions

* Manage Project stakeholders as well as customer expectations and requirements

* Ensure the identification and selection of an optimum 'To-Be-State' and solution

* Develop and manage the Project Plan

* Manage the dependencies with other projects



Perform with the advice of Stream leaders,Team leaders or Architect:

* Highlight any issues that affect project maturity, next steps and project direction

* Deploy effective Process Improvement activities

* Manage Communications, Project documentation

* Identify and deploy Lessons Learned & Good Practice

* Monitor and Control the Project


**Your boarding pass:**

* At least 5 years of experience in End to end project management

* Strong Knowledge of Aeronautics

* Experience in Tech data, Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Systems would be a plus

* Dynamic, Proactive with a Positive mindset

* Good team player and good organizational skills,

* Ability to demonstrate leadership,
