**Job Description:**
If you want to join an area in Airbus that is essential to our Customers fleet, an exciting opportunity for a Fuel systems engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse (Blagnac site).
The successful applicant will join the Fuel Systems team, in the new Center Of Competence In-Service Engineering and will be part of the department in charge of Engineering Support for Propulsion Systems (Engine and Nacelle), APU, Fuel, Bleed and Air Systems.

* What you will be doing *
* Answer customer daily queries through Tech Request tool. Following up as required through direct phone calls and discussions with the Airlines or their representatives
* Provide on-site assistance where & when necessary.
* Organise meetings and webinars for specific subjects in order to communicate effectively to airlines.
* Create and present clear, precise and value added presentations on fuel system technical topics.
* Ensure that all technical concerns and needs, raised by the customer, are well assessed and addressed within the defined time scale.
* Monitor in-service events, identify potential impacts and launch appropriate corrective action with the relevant program and design organisation through creation of Major In service Problem (MISP) or Request For Work (RFW).
* Ensure the required level of progress and follow-up during the investigation phase acting as the "voice of the customer" to ensure the problem solution is in the best interests of the customer.
* Ensure feedback of in-service experience, maintenance activities and significant issues to management, design organisation and the suppliers.
* Analyse all in-service events to identify potential impact on airworthiness, reliability, quality, cost of ownership, passenger and crew comfort, and operational cost.
* Provide In service Information (ISI) and Technical Follow up (TFU) to airlines ensuring a high level of quality and added value information.
* Review documentation for new programs and modifications/adaptations to existing programs (AMM and TSM).
* Review Service Bulletins and provide inputs for inspection service bulletin creation.
* After a certain level of expertise in the job - Represent Airbus at Airline conferences and technical review meetings.
** About you **
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Engineer with experience in aircraft systems, with a preference but not obligatory in Fuel systems.
- Negotiation level in English, written and spoken (This is a very important aspect of the job as it involves all communication, either with customers or with the design offices both written and verbal in English)
- Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written.
- Highly concerned by Customer support and service minded
- Good co-ordination and relational skills to deal with Customers, Design Offices, Vendors and other Airbus departments.
- Team player, adaptable, flexible
- This position has been graded G13
