Description du poste
LHH Recruitment Solutions, a leading firm specializing in recruitment, talent assessment, career transition, and leadership development, is recruiting for an international industrial company seeking its future Plant Manager (Future Site Director) H/F.
As part of a strategic and ambitious industrial investment project, the company is seeking a highly experienced industrial leader to join its organization during the early stages of a major facility development project.
This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in the design, construction, commissioning, and ramp-up of a future industrial facility dedicated to advanced manufacturing activities. Production is expected to start in late early 2028, and the site will progressively grow to support several dozen employees across operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, and support functions.
Working closely with the Engineering Project Manager, international stakeholders, and project partners, you will contribute to the successful delivery of this major investment before ultimately assuming full responsibility for the site's operations as Site Director.
Joining the project from its earliest stages, you will actively participate in shaping the future organization, industrial strategy, and operational structure of the facility.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Participating in the study, design, and development of future industrial facilities and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborating closely with the Engineering Project Manager to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
- Contributing to major technical, operational, and organizational decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supporting the selection, evaluation, and management of engineering partners, suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
- Monitoring project progress from engineering through construction, commissioning, and operational start-up.
- Designing and implementing the future site's operating model, organizational structure, and management processes.
- Preparing the production ramp-up and ensuring a seamless transition into full operational activity.
- Working closely with international corporate teams in a multicultural environment.
- Partnering with Human Resources teams to define and implement recruitment, onboarding, and workforce development strategies.
Description du profil
We are seeking an experienced industrial leader with a proven track record in manufacturing operations, industrial project management, and large-scale investment programs.
You have successfully contributed to major CAPEX projects, greenfield developments, plant expansions, industrial transformations, or the construction of new manufacturing facilities. You are comfortable operating in fast-growing and evolving environments and are motivated by the opportunity to build an industrial organization from the ground up.
You are recognized for your leadership skills, your ability to align teams around a shared vision, and your capacity to drive performance in complex environments. You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic and hands-on approach and have demonstrated success in recruiting, developing, and leading multidisciplinary teams.
Your experience allows you to work effectively with internal stakeholders, engineering partners, suppliers, contractors, and executive leadership teams. You are confident managing multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and project delivery.
Experience within process industries, specialty materials, metals, chemicals, advanced manufacturing, energy, mining, or other capital-intensive industrial environments would be highly advantageous.
Fluent English is essential, as the role requires daily interaction with international stakeholders and group management teams. French language proficiency is also required to support local operations, recruitment activities, and stakeholder management.
