Linux Systems / Infrastructure Engineer - EMEA Linux Systems / Infrastructure Engineer Arrow's Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) business is a global technology enablement company that brings innovative IT solutions to the market to solve complex business challenges. Administer, patch, troubleshoot and performance-tune Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments at enterprise scale.- Design, implement and maintain Linux-based infrastructure solutions, from development through stabilization and documentation.- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible, Bash and Python.- Manage Linux identity services and integration with Microsoft Active Directory.- Support backup, disaster recovery and data protection solutions, including Zerto and Rubrik.- Monitor infrastructure availability, performance and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues.- Participate in incident resolution, including critical infrastructure incidents when required.- Collaborate with infrastructure, security and application teams within a large multinational IT environment. At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Linux, ideally Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), in enterprise environments.- Strong experience in Linux administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning and infrastructure lifecycle management.- Experience with Ansible and scripting in Bash and/or Python.- Knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Active Directory integration.- Understanding of infrastructure security, monitoring and capacity planning.- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a large multinational IT environment.- Interest in automation, containerization and modern enterprise infrastructure technologies.
