Description du poste
Activ/rh is recruiting for its client, a major player in the development and production of mining shovels and dumpers, a :
Production Engineer (M/W)
As part of this international industrial group, you will be responsible for ensuring that the necessary resources are available to guarantee the smooth operation of the subsidiaries' decentralized production workshops.
As the main interface between decentralized production workshops, Group factories, and component suppliers, you will manage technical requests from subsidiaries and ensure consistency in production standards, documentation, and technical processes.
In an operational support role for local production sites, you will work closely with internal departments (methods, quality, engineering, etc.) as well as with the Group's external partners.
As such, your main missions are as follows:
- Ensure the availability of technical documentation for production workshops abroad
- Write, validate, and update work instructions, drawings, technical bulletins, and quality documentation
- Ensure process compliance with internal standards and conduct on-site audits
- Collaborate regularly with teams in Australia, Indonesia, Russia, and South Africa
- Participate in monitoring site performance (technical and financial indicators)
- Propose improvements to production practices, tools, and documentation
- Occasional international travel (maximum 25%) to support production centers
Your profile:
With a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, you have solid experience in heavy industry: steel, sheet metal, welding, metalworking, or industrial processes.
You have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a demanding industrial environment.
Recognized for your autonomy, ease in multicultural settings, and strong communication skills, you know how to collaborate effectively with various
stakeholders.
You are proficient with office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and are rigorous in analyzing and structuring technical data.
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for this position.
Welding certification (IWE, IWT, or IWS) would be a plus.
Knowledge of French and/or German is an asset but not a requirement.
Position to be filled rapidly on a permanent contract in Colmar (68), with international travel to be planned.
Conditions: Executive status, fixed daily rate
Remuneration: To be defined according to profile and experience.
