**Job Description:**
Airbus UpNext is looking for a Mechanical architect to support the definition and integration of 5G Non-Terrestrial-Network payload based on space platforms.
Our objective is to explore many new technologies and to support the strategic ambitions of Airbus. As such, be prepared for a wild ride, digging into unconventional ways of working, and be ready for many pivots throughout, as we will explore the unknown.
As Mechanical architect, you are responsible for the mechanical design, integration and test of the 5G NTN payload.
This position is based in Toulouse ( between Labège and Saint Martin), and you will collaborate with teams across Europe and an international partnership landscape.
* This job comes with a 3 year CDI-C contract tied to the deliverable of this demonstrator - end of June 2028. *

By being the Mechanical architect, you will:
* Accommodation of the payload (CAD model, Built of Material, Mass budget)
* Mechanical analyses (modal analysis, sinus, random, acoustic)
* Procurement and integration (detailed design, supplier follow-up, integration)
* Payload qualification (tests plan / report)
* Link with electrical / thermal architect
* Contribute to overall payload validation
* Documentation (ICD / justification file)
