Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (M/F) NEXTGEN RH

Our client is an innovative Luxembourg-based startup specialising in sovereign cloud solutions. The company supports SMEs across all industries in their digital transformation, with a strong focus on security, performance and agility.

As the company continues to grow rapidly, it is looking to strengthen its technical team by recruiting a:

CLOUD & INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER (M/F)
PERMANENT CONTRACT - SOUTHERN LUXEMBOURG - FROM €45K

Reporting to the Lead Architect, you will be responsible for the operation and continuous development of an ISO 27001-certified cloud platform, as well as the services hosted on it.

You will work across three key areas: technical operations, hosting architecture design, and migration project management.

Your main responsibilities:

• Platform Operations & Development: ensure the platform remains operational, monitor and automate the Cloud environment, contribute to its ongoing development, and manage incidents, changes and on-call duties.

• Cloud Architecture & Solutions: analyse customer requirements, design appropriate hosting solutions, contribute to technical proposals and help develop the Cloud offering.

• Security & Compliance: contribute to infrastructure security, monitor security events and support the maintenance of ISO 27001 certification.

• Projects & Customer Relations: manage migration and production deployment projects, support customers and resellers, and ensure comprehensive documentation of solutions.

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT (Bac+2 to Bac+5 equivalent) and at least 5 years of experience in Linux systems administration. Previous experience in a Cloud, hosting or infrastructure environment would be a strong advantage.

Technical environment:

• Systems: Linux (Debian, Ubuntu)

• Cloud & Virtualisation: Apache CloudStack, KVM

• Containerisation & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes

• Automation & Infrastructure as Code: Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python

• SIEM & Security: Wazuh, OpenSearch

• Monitoring, Backup & Operations: monitoring and backup tools

Fluent English are essential. Knowledge of any additional language (French, German) would be considered an advantage.

• You are autonomous, rigorous and curious, with a strong sense of responsibility.

• You enjoy working as part of a team and are comfortable communicating with both technical stakeholders and customers.

• You are confident in documenting and formalising solutions, and you are able to learn new technologies quickly.

• You are also keen to support junior colleagues and help them develop their technical skills.
