IT Project Manager - Aeronautics (H/F) NEXTGEN RH

For our client, a company specializing in technical solutions for heavy industries, we are looking for a:

IT PROJECT MANAGER - AERONAUTICS (M/F)
PERMANENT CONTRACT - BAYONNE (64) - €60K TO €65K

Reporting to the Business Unit Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all digital projects and ensuring their operational success. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of 20 employees (10 in Bayonne under direct management and 10 in Toulouse under intermediate management) and contribute to the global strategy of the company.

Your main missions:

• Manage a multidisciplinary team (developers, project managers, graphic designers, 3D experts) and develop their skills.

• Allocate resources optimally and pilot the workload to ensure project success.

• Coordinate digital initiatives (digital learning, e-learning, simulation, immersive environments) and align them with the strategic objectives of the company and its clients.

• Contribute to strategic reflections with management and clients.

• Provide technical support to the commercial department and participate in responding to tenders.

• Represent the company's digital expertise to clients and at professional events.

We are looking for a candidate with:

• A Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Software Development, Interactive Systems, Simulation, Real-Time 3D, or a similar technical field.

• 8 to 15 years of experience in complex technical environments, ideally in the aeronautics or defense sectors.

• Proven experience in managing technical teams (5 to 15 people) and cross-functional projects.

• Mastery of technologies such as C#, JavaScript, or Java, as well as Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies (Jira tool).

• Ability to understand and support technical teams without replacing them.

• Fluent English (C1 level), with the ability to conduct technical, commercial, and managerial exchanges in English.

• Personal qualities: Natural leadership, pragmatism, sense of priorities, autonomy, initiative, pedagogy, ability to influence, and cross-functional collaboration.

Working Conditions and Benefits

• Bonuses: Performance bonus (up to 1.5 months' salary) based on commercial performance, project delivery (OTD/OQD), and client satisfaction.

• Travel: Occasional travel (Toulouse 1-2 times per month, Paris, aeronautical trade shows, potential international events).
