We are looking for a creative and passionate Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team. As our Pastry Chef, you will play a key role in creating elegant desserts, pastries and sweet treats that complement the Storfjord experience. Working closely with our Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen team, you will have the opportunity to shape and further develop our pastry offering, always with a focus on quality, seasonality and craftsmanship.

Our cuisine is rooted in Nordic traditions, highlighting the very best local ingredients. We collaborate closely with regional farmers and producers, and many of our ingredients are foraged from the surrounding nature.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience as a Pastry Chef or strong experience in pastry and dessert production
  • Is passionate about craftsmanship, quality and attention to detail
  • Enjoys creating beautiful desserts and pastries using seasonal ingredients
  • Is creative and eager to contribute with new ideas
  • Thrives in a high-end kitchen with ambitious quality standards
  • Works independently while also being a strong team player
  • Has a positive attitude and enjoys collaborating across departments
  • Speaks and writes English fluently (Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is an advantage)
  • Holds a valid driver's licence (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present desserts, pastries, bread and other baked goods to the highest standard
  • Develop seasonal dessert menus together with the Head Chef
  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation across all pastry production
  • Contribute to breakfast service with freshly baked products
  • Participate in special events, private dining experiences and culinary concepts
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and HACCP compliance
  • Contribute to a positive, professional and inspiring kitchen environment
