About the role
Our 17th-century five-star château offers seven luxuriously appointed suites and is renowned for its Michelin-starred Restaurant Château Neercanne and the Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded L'Auberge, alongside the historic marl caves. The property is ideal for large celebrations and special gatherings.
What will you do?
Working at Restaurant Château Neercanne means being part of a kitchen where craftsmanship and refinement are central. In this exceptional location in Maastricht, near the Belgian border, you are responsible for delivering a pâtisserie experience that matches our Michelin-star level.
You work with seasonal and local ingredients, transforming them into desserts and pâtisserie that complete the menu. In this role, you are given the creative freedom to express yourself and contribute to the culinary development of the restaurant.
- You develop and refine new desserts, friandises, and pâtisserie elements
- You prepare and plate creations with attention to taste, texture, and presentation
- You work with fresh, local products and follow the seasons in your pâtisserie
- You ensure quality and consistency within your section

What do we expect from you?
You have a passion for pâtisserie and elevate our fine dining experience through creativity and precision. You work with care and structure, and actively contribute to the refined signature of Château Neercanne.
- Experience with both classical and modern pâtisserie
- Strong sense of taste, texture, and presentation
- Ability to contribute ideas for new pâtisserie creations
- Positive and collaborative attitude within the team
- Comfortable in an ambitious environment
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen as a (demi) Chef de Partie and ready for the next step
- Stress-resistant, well-organized, and adaptable to daily demands
