Experienced Gardener - Full time - Cashel Palace Hotel Relais & Châteaux

The Cashel Palace Hotel & Spa is currently recruiting for an experience/qualified Gardener who is well organised, highly motivated & passionate about gardening.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Gardener to join gardening team, Cashel Palace Hotel is one of Irelands most renowned 5* hotel, this role is key to maintaining the exceptional standards of our landscaped gardens and outdoor spaces, ensuring a beautiful and welcoming environment for guests year-round.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain & nurture lawns, flower beds, shrubs, and trees to a high standard
• Plant, prune, weed, and fertilise as required
• Assist in seasonal planting and landscape projects
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely
• Monitor plant health and identify pests or diseases
• Ensure all garden areas, paths and walkways, outdoor features, and general grounds are free of litter & debris.
• Ensure all work aligns with health & safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance and hospitality team

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture
• Relevant horticulture qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge of plants, soil care, and seasonal maintenance
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work
• Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
