We are looking for an Accounting & Tax Consultant based in Guinea Bissau/remote flexibility for a client specializing in business consulting.

Prepare for a possible tax audit
Prevent potential tax adjustments
Analyze and monitor consolidated tax liabilities (subsidiary accounts)
Verify the accuracy of tax calculations
Measure the specific impacts of international standards on the company's accounts
Review financial statements to ensure their accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations
Calculate taxes due, prepare tax returns, and ensure that taxes are paid correctly and on time
Advise companies and individuals on complex tax issues
Optimize clients' tax situations while ensuring compliance with legal obligations
Provide accounting and tax advisory services to our clients in Africa and South America
Apply international accounting principles and adapt to new technical and tax regulations
Ensure compliance with tax controls, accounting procedures, and tax techniques
Collaborate effectively within our team to provide high-quality service

At least 8 years of accounting experience, with expertise in international accounting and tax principles
Proven experience in international consulting (preferably within a consulting firm)
Solid knowledge and practical experience of tax audits
Fluency in English and Spanish/French
Professional experience in Africa or in challenging regions with complex business environments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and multicultural environment
Willingness to travel to African countries, possibly also to South America
