**Job Description:**
At our Airbus Helicopters location in Marignane, we are looking for active support for our team in the Vibration, Loads & Acoustics (ETGV) department as a *Flight Loads Engin**eer (m/f/d) !*
In your role as a *Flight Loads Engineer* (m/f/d) you will be in charge of determining the limit and fatigue loads by simulation or flight tests analysis, from pre-design up to certification and serial life support. In addition to development projects, you will contribute to Research activities and to the continuous improvement of our methods and tools.
You will work within a *transnational team in a cross-functional environment* with interfaces to many other engineering departments such as airframe, dynamic systems, flight tests, or airworthiness.
*Your tasks & responsibilities :*
* Determination of external loads acting on the vehicle due to trim conditions, maneuvering flight or flight in gusty condition by analytical methods, flight mechanics simulation, or evaluation of measurement data.
* Specification, support and evaluation of component, ground and flight test campaign.
* Contribute to the vehicle optimization process. Providing overall vehicle loads, sensitivity studies and a component view for structural design.
* Development of leading methods and competences in the areas of Loads & Aeroelastics along with the required methods and tools.
* Support product certification and the evolution of requirements in that area.
**Desired skills and qualifications**
You have the following skills and experience:
* Educated to a master's degree level (diploma/master) in aeronautical engineering or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
* Good knowledge of the principles of aerodynamics and flight dynamics.
* Good knowledge of aeroelastics
* Experience in analysis of test data.
* Coding/scripting experience with Python
* You have excellent communication skills and a brilliant team spirit
* You are open minded, you have a welcome problem attitude and you bring curiosity
* You enjoy a transverse and international environment
* Fluent in English, German is desirable, French is a plus
