Composite Lay-Up Technicians/Technicien stratifieur Pharea

We are looking for two passionate and detail-oriented Composite Lay-Up Technicians to join our production team in Al-Aïn (UAE)
You will be responsible for the manufacture of high-quality composite parts, including the lay-up of pre-preg materials and bonding of honeycomb structures, in full compliance with technical instructions and current manufacturing standards.

Main Responsibilities :

Production and Execution

Prepare and review templates, drawings, and work instructions before starting production.

Perform manual lay-up and bonding of composite materials.

Ensure flawless quality on the first attempt ("First Time Right").

Meet targets for Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery (SQCDP).

Compliance and Processes

Apply internal procedures and composite manufacturing standards.

Ensure controlled and compliant execution of all lay-up operations.

Use tools and materials correctly in line with technical requirements.

Continuous Improvement

Actively participate in process improvement initiatives.

Contribute to the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen).

Suggest improvements to optimize production quality and efficiency.

Safety and Quality

Strictly adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) rules.

Identify potential risks and maintain safe working practices at all times.

Education and Experience

3-5 years of experience in composite lay-up or a similar manufacturing role.

Technical diploma or vocational qualification (or equivalent hands-on experience in manual or industrial production).

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.

Technical Skills

Solid understanding of composite materials, pre-pregs, and fiber orientations.

Skilled in the use of hand tools (knives, scissors, heat guns, measuring tools, laser projection).

Experience in mold preparation and manual lay-up operations.

Professional Competencies

Intermediate lay-up techniques (pre-preg handling, honeycomb bonding).

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods (5S, Kaizen, continuous improvement).

Basic understanding of production programs, KPIs, and industry standards.

Good awareness of safety, hygiene, and environmental practices.

Personal Qualities

Strong sense of responsibility and professional integrity.

Positive attitude and ability to perform under pressure.

Quality- and results-oriented mindset.

Team spirit and strong interpersonal skills.

Open-minded, adaptable, and eager to learn.

Ability to support and train junior technicians when needed.
