#ET18 - Material Lab Test Technician - Mechanical Testing (m/f) AIRBUS

**Job Description:**

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Material Lab Test Technician in Mechanical Testing (f/m) to join our Design Office based in Marignane, France.

You will join the Material and Process Laboratory which is responsible for the characterization and the testing of new materials, but also support to production and operations and to analyze failures for major incidents in service.

In the field of mechanical testing activities, you will participate in all development and testing activities necessary for new materials and processes qualification, analysis and production support. Your main interfaces will be industry, but also the design office, the quality department and external laboratories.

Your challenges:

* To be one of the technical referents for mechanical tests on metallic coupons as well as composite/organic (axial/rotative fatigue, tensile, hydrogen embrittlement, tribology, etc.).

* To help to plan (quotation, validation and schedule) the test campaigns, carry out the tests/analyses defined, and document and validate analyzes and conclusions for test reports.

* As a member of the laboratory team, you will apply and maintain the quality management system (ISO17025) including equipment maintenance in your technical area.

* You will carry out the technical follow-up of the equipment and the associated documentation linked to the tests and support the Quality department during audits



Your profile:

You will have the following skills and experience:

* A Technician level in the Material domain or related discipline

* An experience in test laboratories mandatory

* Communication competences is essential for this position.

* Autonomy

* Adaptation capacity

* Rigor (respect of standards, ...)

* Team player

* Language skills:

* French: Fluent

* English: Independent/ Fluent
