French fabless semiconductor manufacturer specialized in the design and marketing of highly integrated, mixed-signal semiconductor products for markets demanding wideband and low power analog-to-digital, digital-to-analog conversion.

Role:
The Design Team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Back-End Team Leader (TL) who will contribute to implementing, defining, and leading the back-end team.
The candidate will support the Sales & Marketing team in defining new products and interface activities with customers. The TL will also animate and drive the team to develop their technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance a design methodology to optimize back-end team performance.
• Foster a cohesive approach to design tools and technical documentation practices for improved consistency.
• Contribute to defining and implementing mechanisms for sharing expertise within and across teams.
• Facilitate close collaboration between the back-end team, other teams, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure the efficient functioning of the team and provide technical guidance based on expertise.
• Take charge of technical training initiatives within the team to enhance skill sets.
• Undertake technical lead responsibilities in project assignments, aligning with project requirements.
• Manage the annual evaluation process and provide support to team members.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams and customers to specify new products.
• Participate in customer presentations for projects and products in coordination with Sales & Marketing.

Requirements:

• Possess a Master's Degree in Electronics or an equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in designing digital functions using hardware description languages (Verilog/System-Verilog, VHDL).
• Expertise in utilizing the Cadence or Synopsys "back-end" design flow.
• Familiarity with a "scripting" language (TCL, Perl, Python, etc.).
• Bilingual proficiency in both French and English.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and effectively solve problems.

Education:
BAC+5, Master's Degree
