**Job Description:**

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Health and Safety-Division Leader (f/m), based in Marignane, France at Airbus Helicopters.

You will be part of the Environment Health and Safety (EHS) Division team, whose primary responsibilities include:

* Lead the Division's Occupational Safety, Health & Wellbeing and Environment strategies and related policies,

* Drive a worldwide, end-to-end approach to standardization, alignment, and cross-fertilization,

* Champion a cultural transformation that embeds Environment Health and Safety excellence into everything we do,

* Partner with our Sites worldwide to ensure the successful implementation of their local roadmaps.



You will be in charge of piloting the Health and Safety pillar for the Division. You will work in close partnership with your counterparts from the Airbus Helicopters Environmental pillar, as well as with the Airbus Group Health&Safety team.

You will report directly to the Head of Environment Health and Safety for Airbus Helicopters.

*Your challenges:*

As a leader of the Health and Safety domain for the Division and in close collaboration with Environment Health and Safety Airbus Group team, you will be responsible for:

Standards & continuous improvement

* Drive the evolution of our Health & Safety standards to the highest level of maturity by using the framework of our Company Excellence System (CES).

* Champion the continuous improvement of H&S processes, methods and tools, with a strong focus on simplification and digitalization.



Health and Safety Airbus Helicopters Network

* Coordinate the worldwide Health&Safety network through a robust governance model with a strong focus on Customer Centers,

* Provide high-level H&S expert advice and support to the H&S AH network,

* Provide support and targeted H&S coaching, particularly to the Managing Directors of our Customer Centers.



Expertise & Risk management

* Maintain and develop a high level of expertise in specialized fields (including fire protection, chemical, radiation ...),

* Oversee the management of key H&S risks at the company level by coordinating audits, risk assessments, and supporting sites with the implementation of corrective actions.



Cultural transformation & Communication

* Lead high-impact projects designed to strengthen our global H&S culture,

* Coordinate in partnership with EHS Group academy and the EHS local/regional network the Learning and Competences strategy for the Division

* Partner with the Internal Communications team to drive the H&S communications plan

* Coordinate all H&S reporting at the Division level.



*Your profile:*

*Education: Master's degree (or equivalent certification) in Occupational Safety, Health and/or Environment.*

*Experiences:*


* *10 years experience in the Health and Safety domain*


* *Leadership experience*


* *Experience in a production environment.*




*Travel: As it is a transnational position, ability to travel regularly to our worldwide sites is required*

*Language: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English*

* Health and Safety Strategies and Policies: A proven track record of success in developing and managing Health & Safety strategies/policies.

* Auditing: Formal training and practical skills in H&S management systems auditing

* Project Management: Proven experience in managing complex projects from conception to completion.

* Regulatory Affairs: Experience in navigating and negotiating with regulatory agencies and authorities.

* Specialized Expertise (preferred) : Deep expertise in certain specific H&S fields (eg: radiation, laser safety, ergonomics, fire protection, or chemical safety.)
