Modeling & Simulation Engineer H/F FORCE INTERIM

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Modeling & Simulation engineer H/F for a company offering innovative mobility technologies located in Compiègne (60).

MISSION :

• Develop and improve modeling & simulation methodologies in the field of Solid Mechanics and its application to R&D projects involving hydrogen parts
• Support R&D projects needs in his/her field of expertise
• Build and maintain a technical network
• Propose and follow collaboration with universities and research centers

Responsibilities & Activities

• Perform on-time simulations for projects following requirements
• Write clear and comprehensive reports, answer Project questions on results
• Capitalize knowledge through controlled documents
• Ensure innovation activity (improve simulation capabilities, investigate new simulation fields)
• Develop expertise in the field of Solid Mechanics analysis
• Support R&D projects or work packages where Solid Mechanics analysis is involved
• Bring his/her expertise to the research & development projects following needs
• Network with experts within New Energies Division and with the engineers in the Technical Centers worldwide
• Develop contacts with major software suppliers to identify future trends
• Propose and follow collaboration with universities and research centers
• Identify potential universities and research centers in his/her field of expertise
• Supervise student work
• Modeling & Simulation manager

Salary : based on profile and experience

Personal Background

• Engineering degree or equivalent. Ph. D is a plus
• Good knowledge in solid mechanics simulation (finite elements analysis)
• Good knowledge of material laws theory

• Experience of numerical simulation in one or several areas of interest (vibration, fatigue, static, thermal, crash)
• Solid mechanics simulation software (Abaqus preferred)
• Pre-preocessing software (Hypermesh preferred)
• Experience with Radioss is a plus
• Fluent in English and German
• Aptitude in communication, especially on vulgarization of simulation concepts
