Housekeeping Turndown Attendant Relais & Châteaux

Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a Turndown Attendant to join our professional and hardworking Housekeeping Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle, creating truly memorable and impressive 5* experiences for our guests.

About Us

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has recently completed a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes' drive from Bristol, it offers 26 bedchambers and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces.

Our company goal is to deliver "refined and personalised hospitality" to enable our hotel to be a place where all guests can relax, enjoy themselves and have a break from normal life. To feel like royalty in a unique place with unique people.

• £12.42 per hour (depending on experience)
• Part time, permanent position
• 15 hours a week, 6:30pm - 9:30pm 5 days a week, including weekends
• Ensuring bedrooms are prepared to the highest standard for the guests' comfort.
• Ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing and refreshing linen and towels.
• Restocking guest room supplies, including linen, amenities, and collaterals.
• Engaging with guests where required.
• Report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping manager.
• Cleaning rooms can be physically demanding but you will receive full training and be surrounded by a supportive team.

• Previous experience in hotel Housekeeping is desirable but not necessary
• Have a good eye for detail
• Have an interest in developing a career in hospitality
