**Job Description:**

**Airbus Headquarters* * is looking for a **HO Export Control Programme Office ** (f/m)* * to join our E&C Business Programmes & Culture department based in ** Toulouse, France.**

The position reports to the Head of Ethics & Compliance Programmes and works in close cooperation with the Head of Export Control.

***Your challenges:***

The Head of Export Control Programme is responsible for preventing, managing and mitigating Export Control and Sanctions risks by designing and implementing policies and tools, providing Export Control training to employees depending on their level of exposure, controlling the deployment of Export Control policies in subsidiaries, fostering the development of an Export Control culture within the group, and advocating Airbus Export Control position within national or international forums or before authorities.

This includes:

* Managing a team of 17 Export Control advisors and managers based primarily in the Airbus home countries; more broadly, advising and aligning Export Control managers based in the One Roofs/Regions on the implementation of new policies, procedures and tools,

* Ensuring that each compliance risk area is periodically identified, assessed and mitigated through the Programme through proper oversight in particular through resource allocation,

* Designing, updating and deploying Export Control policies including directives, methods and guidelines to address emerging risk areas or changes in the regulatory environment; overseeing application of such policies and providing guidance to target populations, including a consistent, group-wide approach to key items such as data classification, ITAR management, etc.,

* Rolling out new technology and digital solutions for EC matters to facilitate policy application by functions,

* Setting up the training strategy and deploying group-wide of Export Control training in various formats (classroom training, elearnings or new digital formats); engaging on presentations and training for higher risk third parties involved in Export Control (e.g., freight forwarders),

* Managing the Export Control Point of Contact (EPoC) network to support the business in embedding the Export Control agenda, building on the networks which currently exist in Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defense & Space and Airbus Helicopters, providing regulatory watch and sharing this with subsidiaries and affiliates,

* Advising on sanctions, embargoes and diversions,

* Leading the classification strategy for the group in coordination with the Divisional HO Export Control,

* Managing transactional work (JV-M&A) with respect to export control matters,

* Managing and coordinating the Export Control programme roadmap and action plans relating to ITAR, EAR, National Military and EU Dual Use and cooperating on Voluntary Disclosure remediation actions and Key Performance Indicators,


* Leading Airbus external engagement and representation for Export compliance topics (industry, govt, etc.),

* Ensure the ECPO team develops working relationships with key stakeholders in the group (Operations, Engineering, Programmes, Procurement, Sales, Customers Services, IT, etc).



***Your boarding pass:***


* Educated to degree level (MBA or equivalent) in Export Control, Law or a related discipline,

* At least 10 years of experience on Export Control and/or general Trade Compliance and related matters, ideally on EU and US export control (ideally in the aerospace industry),

* Strong organizational and communication skills; sound business judgment; involves others appropriately in consultations and decisions,

* Excellent writing skills in English required,

* Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills,

* High degree of credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust,

* Languages: English (fluent); knowledge of French is a plus.
