Under the management of the Financial Director, your responsibilities will consist of:

• Oversee daily transactions including accounts receivable/creditable, bank and general ledger reconciliations
• Participate in regular tax audits and payroll management
• Prepare budget reports and forecast revenues
• Manage month-end and year-end closing (in OHADA and IFRS). US GAAP would be an asset
• Organize periodic meetings with operational teams to identify financial and operational risks that may impact the company's assets.

You have 8 years of experience as a Financial Controller in the agri-food or manufacturing sector, ideally in Africa
Higher education such as a business school or university equivalent, ideally supplemented by the CPA/CMA/ACCA/CA is mandatory
Experience with US GAAP, IFRS is mandatory
You have spent at least 3 years in an international audit firm before occupying financial management positions in a company
Experience in accounting software (Dynamics Navision, SAP and Sage)
Perfect command of French and English is mandatory

Our client is a major company in the agri-food sector, specializing in the production, processing, and marketing of agricultural products in Africa. As part of its development and to strengthen its financial management, they are looking for a Financial Controller for their subsidiary in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kinshasa.
