  • Full time permanent position 48 hours per week
  • Salary £27,700 per annum
  • Overtime paid
  • An additional share of service charge and tips (paid every 2 months, about 3.5k annually)
  • 28-days holiday including bank holidays

  • Ideal candidate a strong commis chef that wants to move on progress and be part of an exciting project.
  • Experience in a 3 AA Rosettes within a similar role.
  • You will be responsible for the preparation and service in a particular section supporting the team and helping colleagues
  • Bringing a calm mature approach with a resilient nature that thrives under pressure
  • Natural ability as a chef with outstanding attention for detail
  • Dedicated excellent team player with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and using own initiative and the ambition to succeed at the highest levels
  • Strictly follow all food safety and health & safety procedures
  • Paid day off on your birthday

Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a Demi Chef De Partie to join our talented team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle.

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has almost completed a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes' drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces. our food style is modern British using the best locally sourced produce from our kitchen garden and around the southwest. We operate 7 days a week, serving breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner, and Sunday lunch as well as the occasional wedding and functions.
