We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-pressure kitchen environment in a culinary focused restaurant. Experience with Garde Manger and Sauté stations are helpful. This role involves preparation and presentation to high-quality and consistent standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service.
  • Manage Garde Manger duties, including salads, Hot and cold appetizers, and soups
  • Execute Sauté station responsibilities, maintaining timing and quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies.
  • Participate in menu development and daily specials.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
  • Strong Garde Manger and Sauté skills are essential.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to take direction and a life-long learner mentality
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
