Our driver / concierge plays a pivotal role in crafting seamless guest experiences. From elegant trips between our sites, to thoughtful local recommendations, you'll be the welcoming face and trusted guide for our guests-ensuring every journey is as memorable as the destination. With a deep knowledge of the Lake District, a flair for discretion, and a passion for service, you'll help us deliver the kind of personalised excellence that defines Gilpin's reputation.

✈️ Your Role as Driver / Concierge:

• Chauffeurs guests in style between our two properties, ensuring comfort, safety, and punctuality.
• Provides a warm, professional welcome and farewell, assisting with luggage and offering concierge-level support.
• Shares local insights, restaurant recommendations, and activity suggestions with flair and discretion.
• Maintains immaculate presentation of vehicles and upholds Gilpin's luxury standards at all times.
• Supports the Lake House and Front Office teams with guest requests, turndowns, errands, and occasional valet duties.

What You Bring:

• Previous experience in a five-star luxury hospitality setting.
• A confident, courteous driver with a full UK driving licence and clean record.

• Passionate about guest experience, with a calm and professional manner.
• Knowledgeable about the Lake District and enthusiastic about sharing it.
• Impeccably presented, with a natural flair for service and discretion.
• Flexible, proactive, and happy to assist across departments when needed.

Salary: from £28,665 to £31,005

Gratuities are allocated on a points basis, depending on development tiers. Although variable, average levels are projected as being from £240 to £550 per month.
