We're seeking a talented Chef De Partie to join our award-winning culinary team at Gilpin Spice, the vibrant Pan-Asian restaurant within Gilpin Hotel & Lake House. Michelin-recommended and renowned for its open kitchen theatre, bold flavours, and luxurious yet playful approach to Asian cuisine, Gilpin Spice offers an inspiring platform for culinary creativity.

What You'll Be Doing as Chef De Partie:

  • Prepares and presents exquisite dishes with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Innovates seasonal menus that blend authenticity with creative flair.
  • Demonstrates a flair for flavour, plating finesse, and calm under pressure.
  • Shows commitment to consistency, cleanliness, and culinary creativity that complements Gilpin Spice's Pan-Asian concept.
  • Upholds the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation.
  • Collaborates with the whole restaurant team and supports the senior team to enable smooth kitchen operations.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in a high-end or Michelin-recommended kitchen.
  • A calm, focused approach and a passion for culinary excellence.
  • A flair for precision plating, and a deep respect for ingredients, provenance, and sustainability.
  • Passion for continuous learning and culinary excellence.
  • Calm under pressure, with an eye for detail and consistency.
  • Charismatic presence and a genuine love for hospitality.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Salary: £33,500

Gratuities are allocated on a points basis, depending on development tiers. Although variable, average levels are projected as being from £370 per month.
