CDI - Head of F&C for Procurement & Quality ArianeGroup

Missions & responsibilities

• Report to Head of F&C for Technical, Procurement & Quality Directorates
• Work with the Directors of Procurement and Quality to improve the efficiency and performance of their respective Directorates
• Steer the planning of workload, headcount and cost base of Procurement & Quality Directorates and optimize their cost structure, propose corrective actions if necessary towards financial targets
• Support Procurement managers in negotiation process with suppliers
• Support Programmes in terms of costs to completion and financing for bottom-up project planning
• Manage the Procurement & Quality controlling team
• Maintain a strong focus on procurement costs and investments control with support from operational managers, provide necessary financial information
• Steer analytical review through analysis on monthly results against budget, forecast and rolling forecast
• Assist operational managers with adhoc requests
• Prepare and approve POs for Procurement spend as well as monthly intercompany invoicing
• Monitor Cash flow reconciliations with Treasury Department
• Prepare cost calculation for tenders and assess the feasibility & risks of the quotation issued

Minimum Entrance Qualifications

• Master in business administration or similar
• Experience of 10 years in finance or commercial management
• Ability to manage uncertainty and resist stakeholder pressure
• Demonstrated strong communication skills and autonomy, willingness to work in a French-German environment
• Good negotiation skills and arbitration abilities
• Ability to challenge status quo and implement effective changes to improve performance
• Proactive and determined team player who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities
• Good accounting knowledge, good knowledge of SAP & Microsoft Office
• Excellent analytical skills
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
