The "Electrical Engineering & AIT support" department in Bremen is looking for an Avionic System Engineer Verification & Test (f/m/d) for the technical support of the development of the avionic system during the entire spacecraft functional validation life cycle as soon as possible in full time (35h/week).

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer and system requirements.
  • Evaluate test and verification requirements, allocate them to dedicated equipment/subsystems, and conduct system qualification and validation tests.
  • Establish the end-to-end avionic test plan and subsystem-oriented test plans for S/C qualification.
  • Assess and confirm the test and validation planning of avionic equipment suppliers.
  • Plan and manage S/C subsystems, integration (including electrical and data handling interfaces), and functional tests during development.
  • Contribute to the definition of electrical test benches.
  • Write technical documentation, including support for project plans, development and verification documents, subsystem and/or test specifications, and interface documents.
  • Elaborate on/contribute to the definition of electrical ground means top requirements.
  • Analyze and review the consistency of the ground bench specification.
  • Prepare/contribute to reviews and progress meetings with suppliers, customers, and space agencies.
  • Participate in and conduct test campaigns, contribute to the test reports, and establish the test synthesis file.

You have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics or similar
  • Long work experience in the relevant fields mentioned above or such as:
  • Definition, planning and participation to avionic qualification & acceptance tests
  • Functional Verification and Validation Activities
  • Performance and Environmental Tests
  • Assessment of Requirements and Tests
  • English and German are mandatory (French is a plus)
